These young sons of guns started early. When they were at the tender but definitely not innocent age of 16-17 they were already working with Spanish record label Saturno and releasing a host of 45’s, cassettes and a couple of albums. Their sheer productivity and the absolute dedication to the 60’s Texan psych/90’s grunge style that they discharge their teenage frustrations and pipe dreams through is nothing short of masterful and shows a maturity that very little Australian bands, let alone bands from Geelong, truly possess.

But as any seminal act does, they have not stopped growing as artists. 2014 brings a brand new album from the band, ‘Legalize Everything’. It documents the bands movement into a sound that is becoming unique to them whilst still maintaining their gritty snarling nostalgic charm.

The album was recorded and mixed by Stu Mackenzie, (King Gizzard) and mastered by Mikey Young (ECSR, Total Control). Recorded at all of the members houses, Stu rocked up with the recording gear and turned over the recordings over 4 weekends, alternating houses for each weekend.

Listening to ‘Legalize Everything’ almost feels like they have gone through a creative revolution much like the Beatles would have with Sgt. Peppers. It shows incredible control and vision through fresh ideas.
